Noma is a word many have never heard, but for thousands of children, it’s a silent emergency.
Noma is a neglected tropical disease that rapidly destroys facial tissue, primarily affecting malnourished children in low-resource settings. In just days, a mild gum infection can become fatal condition affecting the face, leaving survivors with severe disfigurement and disability.
As an organisation, we’re working to raise awareness, promote early detection, and connect patients with facilities for prompt treatment.
We envisioned a world where there are
⭕ Zero cases
⭕ Zero stigma
⭕ Zero deaths
📢 If you see something, kindly say something, repost to help bring attention to this forgotten disease.
