The four epidemiological weeks in August were eventful seeing the number of Noma cases we reported. From the average of #OneNomaCaseAWeek, the number stood at 2.5 for each of the weeks.
In previous times, cases were commonly found when the facial defects were established already. It is interesting to note that about half of the cases in this said period were found at the pre-defect stages (WHO stage 1).
